This is a collection of posts I will be making about the amazing Heritage Trail in the Isle of Man. It is a 10 mile trail that goes from Douglas to Peel, built on a disused railway line and provides a wonderful mixed use space for walkers, cyclists, horse riders and beyond.
In my opinion this is the best shared space on the island and provides a itegral throughway for those commuting between Peel and Douglas via non-motorised transport. It’s beautiful, peaceful and a great way to get some exercise.
This is going to be a ongoing section. I will be updating this over time as changes continue. I want to point out the good, bad and the ugly of this integral route to raise awareness and hopefully get some improvements made.
